Our strata insurance valuation reports are prepared by our experienced valuers having regard to all the legislative requirements. At your instructions, we can provide a current building sum insured and associated advice such as loss of rent sum insured. We are also able to review unit entitlements as directed by the body corporations or the strata manager. Our valuations are presented to strata insurers in order to assist in obtaining sufficient insurance cover for the complex. Unit entitlement valuations are sued by the body corporate to allocate strata levies to individual owners. A valuation for insurance purposes must be completed every 5 years; however, many of our Wollongong-based clients choose to obtain a strata insurance valuation more often than may be legally required to keep their sum insured up to date with the current markets.
